OKC Beautiful Yoga in the Park
OKC Beautiful started Yoga in the Park in 2017 as a way to encourage OKC citizens to explore their neighborhood parks. Yoga in the Park is FREE to attend. Classes are hosted April through October on first and third Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. We are excited to highlight the beauty and functionality of our wonderful public parks. We hope this provides a space for you to connect with community and nature and practice some self-love.
Taylor Phillips, yoga instructor, will be teaching a one hour class for all ages and skill levels. Be sure to bring water, a yoga mat (or towel, if you don’t have one), and wear comfortable clothes. We look forward to seeing you there!
Physical distancing measures will be observed. We ask that you place your mat at least six feet from anyone who you did not come with and wear a mask when not on your mat.
MEET THE TEACHER:
Taylor began practicing yoga in 2013 and immediately noticed the effects it was having both physically and emotionally. Most notably, yoga taught her to breathe through the anxieties of life and remain grounded in the present. In 2017, she completed her 200-hour teaching certification to deepen her practice and share this love of yoga with others. She has taught yoga in the park for several seasons and enjoys helping students find an hour of peace in their day in a beautiful Oklahoma City park!
