OKC Beautiful started Yoga in the Park in 2017 as a way to encourage OKC citizens to explore their neighborhood parks. Yoga in the Park is FREE to attend. Classes are hosted April through October on first and third Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. We are excited to highlight the beauty and functionality of our wonderful public parks. We hope this provides a space for you to connect with community and nature and practice some self-love. The April 7 class will be hosted at Scissortail Park.
Anna Davidson, yoga instructor, will be teaching a one hour class for all ages and skill levels. Be sure to bring water, a yoga mat (or towel, if you don’t have one), and wear comfortable clothes. We look forward to seeing you there!
Physical distancing measures will be observed. We ask that you place your mat at least six feet from anyone who you did not come with and wear a mask when not on your mat.
MEET THE TEACHER:
My name is Anna & I am so excited for you to join in on OKC Beautiful’s Yoga in the Park with us! I found Yoga in 2015 as a way to ease my own anxieties, and stayed for all the tools it gave me to move through daily life. I have been teaching Yoga since 2017 and it has been my passion ever since. I believe Yoga is for everyone, every body, at every stage! My goal in every class I teach is to make you feel empowered, safe, and familiar with the place we call home in our bodies. Whether you’re a first timer or you’ve been with us from the beginning, I can’t wait to hold space for you.
