Farmers Market at Scissortail Park 2023
Saturdays | 9am – 1pm | April – October

Corner of Oklahoma City Boulevard and S. Robinson Avenue

Sponsored by Bank of Oklahoma, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, and Renewal by Andersen

Our Farmers Market is unique in the area as it is a Producer Only market which is a direct-to-consumer marketplace that is exclusively available for producers that raise, grow or make their own products. All items for sale at our market must be homegrown, handmade and/or vendor-created from locally-owned operations within the state of Oklahoma.

Free parking during market weekends is available around the perimeter of the Park and in the special event parking lot on the northwest corner of Oklahoma City Boulevard and Thunder Drive across from Paycom Center.

The popular, drive-up loading zone on Oklahoma City Boulevard called the Veggie Valet will continue this season. Guests are invited to hold their packages at the Veggie Valet as they shop, and then pull their cars up for curbside package pickup.

The Farmers Market Information Tent is available for shoppers to visit with Park staff, purchase Scissortail Park merchandise, and find information on the nutrition assistance programs the market offers including Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Assistance Program (SFMNP), and Double Up Oklahoma (DUO).

NEW IN 2023!
We are adding a mid-week Farmers Market beginning in May.

Our second market is scheduled for the last Wednesday of each month from May through September at the Hill Pavilion and Promenade in the Lower Park area.

This market will feature fewer vendors than our Saturday market to create a more intimate shopping experience with a focus on supporting culturally diverse local producers and young entrepreneurs.

Farmers Market at Scissortail Park Documentaries

Introducing a new partnered video project with The House Creates!

These short films will feature our local producers’ stories, growing practices, tips on eating with the season, and discussions around the importance of local food systems and direct-to-consumer selling outlets.

Our first producer highlight features Rod Ardoin from Acadian Family Farm in Fort Cobb, OK. Rod has grown certified organic produce for over 25 years across the US and South America.

We are honored to serve our local farmers, ranchers, and producers as a producer-only market in which all items sold at our market must be homegrown, handmade, and/or vendor-created from locally-owned operations within the state of Oklahoma.

Farmers Market Cooking Series with Shape Your Future

In 2020, the Farmers Market at Scissortail Park partnered with Shape Your Future to produce a cooking demonstration video series featuring local Oklahoma City chefs creating easy, healthy recipes using fresh, local products found at the Farmers Market.

We are committed to creating a top-quality, destination Farmers Market for all of Oklahoma City. Our journey began in late 2019 when we partnered with OSU-OKC to move their established market from the campus venue to the vibrant, downtown location at Scissortail Park. With support from OSU-OKC, we were able to offer Oklahoma City’s newest outdoor market in spring 2020. Our outdoor facility provided ample social distancing and other safety protocols to allow shoppers and market producers a safe shopping experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. that continued through the 2021 market season.

Beginning in April for the 2022 season, OSU-OKC has moved from a naming partner to supporting the Farmers Market at Scissortail Park through classes and other programming. We are so grateful for their support over the years and for helping us to bring the market to Scissortail Park.

Our mission is to provide downtown Oklahoma City with fresh, made in Oklahoma produce and goods while supporting local farmers, producers, and artisans.

We are proud to be a part of the incredible network of markets across the state to support shopping locally. To see information about these markets in Oklahoma, visit
