Scissortail Park introduces a new concert series featuring live music on the 4.4-acre great lawn providing ample space to enjoy a free concert while practicing responsible social distancing.
Local, regional, and national artists and musicians will take the stage on select Friday evenings for Live from the Lawn presented by Oklahoma Natural Gas co-presented by Glenna and Richard Tanenbaum beginning June 26. Concerts will be held on the Love’s Travel Stops Stage & Great Lawn.
Guests are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs to enjoy an evening of quality music in the Park.

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to postpone the Live from the Lawn concerts on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. We will continue to monitor local spread and provide updates for future performances as the summer goes on. Please continue to watch our social media for the most current updates. Scissortail Park grounds and gardens will remain open to enjoy exercise and fresh air while practicing responsible social distancing.

In addition, and in support of the local food industry, Scissortail Park will offer guests the chance to purchase a Sound Bites Package that includes food, beverages, and a reserved spot of the lawn. During each concert, a different Oklahoma City restaurant, food truck, or caterer will offer a boxed meal and beverages to pickup before the concerts. A new Sound Bites Package will be announced in advance, along with available food items for pre-purchase before each concert.
The Sound Bites Package includes a dinner for two, two non-alcoholic drinks
and a designated concert spot consisting of a bistro table and two chairs – the perfect picnic for two!
