‘Tis the Season at Scissortail Park

An all-new light show, decorations, a holiday market, music, an early-bird New Year’s Eve celebration, and more are set to debut this holiday season at Scissortail Park. Visitors can enjoy the festive ambiance beginning Friday, November 27 through Friday, January 1, 2021.

With support from T-Mobile, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, OG&E, Toucan Productions, BancFirst, Homeland, Crowe & Dunlevy, and Blair & Maggie Humphreys, activities planned during ‘Tis the Season at Scissortail Park offer a safe and socially distanced way to celebrate the holidays this year.

Guests are invited to bundle up and visit the Park, stroll the grounds to enjoy the lights and soak in the holiday spirit at Scissortail.

Please maintain social distancing and wear masks while around people from outside your own household.

Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night hosted by Unsilent Night OKC
Tuesday, December 22 at 5:30pm

A free, outdoor, family-friendly, socially-distanced musical parade through Scissortail Park. No musical skills are necessary to participate. All that is needed is a musical source (phone, audio player) and an external speaker to amplify the sound.

Participants in Oklahoma City’s event will walk safely and spaced-apart through Scissortail Park starting from the Love’s Travel Stops Stage & Great Lawn.

Prior to attending, participants should download one of the four tracks of music or the mobile app from the website, or bring a boombox and receive a free cassette to play (supplies limited).

Meet at the Love’s Travel Stops Stage & Great Lawn at 5:30pm on Tuesday, December 22. Musical parade begins at 6:00pm.

EMBARK Ride Free Weekends
Fridays – Sundays from November 27 – January 3

The Oklahoma City Streetcar will be free to ride all day Fridays through Sundays during the holiday season. Park anywhere downtown and hop on the streetcar to visit Scissortail Park.

The stop is located directly across the street from the Park at Oklahoma City Boulevard and Thunder Drive. Plan a trip at okcstreetcar.com.
